I left my home in Mexico City the summer of 2002 to pursue my academic goals. After completing two years at Cabrillo Comunity College in Aptos California, I was able to transfer to the University of California, Santa Cruz,
where I obtained my B.S. degree in Astrophysics by June of 2006.
There I had the valuable opportunity of working with Professor Joel Primack and his post doctorate Patrik Jonsson,
performing and analyzing simulations of dust attenuation in
hydrodynamic galaxies, using Patrik’s radiative-transfer code Sunrise. Currently I am a new graduate student at the University of California, Irvine, working under the supervision of James Bullock and motivated by a very competent research group. I invite you to take a look to my Statement of Purpose for more information about my interests and achievements.
