e-e- 01
4th International Workshop on
ELECTRON-ELECTRON INTERACTIONS AT TeV ENERGIES

Natural Sciences Annex/Room 101
University of California, Santa Cruz
December 7-9, 2001

3rd Bulletin

This is the final pre-Workshop Bulletin for e-e-01. Its main purpose is to transmit to you the scheduled talks with times allotted. Except for the talks marked by an (*), times indicated include the necessary discussions. Except for the inevitable last-minute emergencies, we expect to adhere closely to this curriculum.

We very much hope that participants make an effort to be present through the duration of the meeting; we consider it very important that the physics motivation, the machine, interaction region, and detector issues be compatibly discussed. To facilitate discussions in smaller groups, we will have rooms adjoining to the Conference Room available for informal gatherings.

We have made LCD projection available in the conference room. Please let Rachel know ASAP if you would like to use this.

If you have any questions or need help with lodging, please feel free to contact Rachel Are there any of you who would be willing to share a room? Please e-mail me: if you know someone attending and would like to share, please indicate that. We would call the motel and make those arrangements for you. There are some rooms at the Ocean Pacific which we have already booked which may not be filled. Contact Rachel for further information.

Following this agenda is information on parking, directions to the Workshop Room (which is tricky to find), computer access, and where

GENERAL INFO

PARKING PERMITS: You can get permits in the SCIPP Office (Nat Sci 2, Room 308) or in Nat Sci Annex 102, next to the lecture hall (101). Rachel Cuningham will be helping us during the workshop. Please find your parking place in the lot first, and then come get your permit. And please allow time to do this before the Workshop starts at 9:00 am. Parking lots are shown on the campus map on our web site. Please pay close attention to marked construction sites and places you cannot park at any time.

For SLAC commuters, please let Clem know, and he will have permits at at SLAC Wednesday. Mention your Mail Stop, in case he doesn't see you.

People from other UC Campuses may use your campus permits. They will be honored here at UCSC. LBNL and LLNL people will need permits.

NOTE: If you have not sent me a registration form, I do not know that you need parking permits. That form is at the end of the 2nd bulletin. You MUST let me know if you will need a permit so I can get the proper amount (the parking office is vary of giving out too many!)

DIRECTIONS TO NATURAL SCIENCES: Detailed directions are on the website under UC Santa Cruz Campus Maps
DIRECTIONS TO WORKSHOP LOCATION ON CAMPUS: Natural Sciences Annex, Room 101
Once you have located the Natural Sciences 2 Building, it still may be confusing to find the location of the Workshop in Room 101. You can get there from the outside of the building, or from the inside of Nat Sci 2 via a hallway on the 1st floor. We'll post signs on the outside of the Annex and Nat Sci 2.
There is a large "patio" area between the Nat Sci 2, the Science Library, and Sinsheimer Labs (a large white cement building for the biological and chemical sciences). The Nat Sci Annex is a small building between Nat Sci 2 and Sinsheimer. It now holds the Lick Observatory administrative offices. On the side of the Annex closest to Sinsheimer (west side) is a stairwell that will take you down to Room 101. There are signs posted "Nat Sci Annex Classrooms".
From inside Nat Sci 2, with which many of you are familiar, you go down to the 1st floor, turn left once you enter the building from the west stairwell. Room 101 is down that hallway.
COMPUTER ACCESS: There will be one two terminals available to Workshop participants in the SCIPP office (room 308) and we may have access to others. Please limit your computer time as best you can.
AUTHOR'S INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE PROCEEDINGS will be sent out shortly after the Workshop and also will be on the web site. Deadline for camera-ready copy to SCIPP for Int. J. Mod. Phys. A will be Friday, February 11, 2001.

WE LOOK FORWARD TO WELCOMING YOU TO SANTA CRUZ!
