The closest parking lot (#121) to the Natural Sciences 2 (Nat Sci 2) building where the Workshop is being held is between the Science Library and McLaughlin Dr. Entrance is from the road immediately after the bridge, turning left and then immediately right. Two parking lots (#112 and 113) near Nat Sci 2 have been closed for construction of a new parking structure. On Friday, with the visitor permit, you may park in either #114 or #121 parking lots. Since the quarter will have just finished on Thursday, you should be able to get a parking place on Friday.

On the weekend, only #121, is available for visitors. The one just west of this area (#114) will be open, but available only to UCSC staff permits. There is more parking on the north side of McLaughlin Dr., lots #139 and 123, turning right at the first stop sign after the bridge.

We will provide permits for Friday to those who check the box on the registration form. You can park your car and come up very quickly to the office for your permit. No permits are needed for Saturday or Sunday. It is very important that you not park in the lot #114 on Saturday or Sunday; you will be ticketed.

Please do car pool if at all possible.
