Configuration of the tracker

Threshold setting

The threshold was kept constant during the beam test (except for the threshold scans, see below).

The threshold setting was 30 dac counts which corresponds to about 170 mV ((30+1) * 5.5). There was one noisy ladder and the threshold was increased to 60 dac settings (335 mV) during the beamtest. The ladder corresponds to layer 2, x-view, channel 321-640.

Layers for which the thresholds were changed during a threshold scan

The threshold for only a few planes were changed for the threshold scans (positrons and hadrons).

0 degree scans
The threshold was changed for planes 8, 9, 10 and 11.
45 degree scans
The threshold was changed for planes 7, 8 and 9.
65 degree scans
The threshold was changed for plane 7.

Location of Data

If the runs were converted to root files check the Rooted runs at SCIPP page.
We also extracted the tracker binary data from the raw data runs. Check the directory:
\\Odin\data\bt99\binData
for available runs.
