Minutes of the Tracker Electronics Meeting Oct 2, 2000 Present: Robert, Hartmut, David, Masa, and Wilko, Dieter 1. Pickup studies, Wilko: Wilko stated he would document the testing results. He sees pickup caused by the Read-event command independent of the shift register clock running. The other commands cause smaller pickup on the Fast-OR output. Wilko will try to generate channel hits to see if there is a pick-up problem from the hit data. Wilko is setting the threshold to 120mV for pickup tests. The nominal setting is 170mV. Wilko repeated the test of adding a 300uF capacitor on DVDD to see if the readout pick-up improved. This time it made no difference. He believes the first test was faulty. 2. Noise tests - QVDD, Masa: Masa stated he would measure the effect on noise performance of biasing QVDD on AVDD2, instead of AVDD (as it is now). He will use a 47pF capacitor on the input.
