SCIPP Directions & Maps

From the San Francisco Airport take I-280 South to Highway 85 South to Highway 17, which will take you directly to Santa Cruz.
From San Jose Airport or Berkeley area, take I-880 South which becomes Highway 17, which will take you directly to Santa Cruz.

Once in Santa Cruz take Highway 1 North (sign reads: Highway 1 North, Half Moon Bay, San Francisco).
Highway 1 will become Mission St.
From Mission St. turn right onto Bay St.
Bay St. leads directly to the UCSC University main entrance.
Continue straight up the main University road which turns into Coolidge Drive.
Stay on Coolidge Dr. as it turns into McLaughlin Dr.
Continue through stop signs to end of road. This will be Heller Dr.
Make a left on Heller Dr.
At first stop sign make a left into the Core West Parking Structure.

The SCIPP department and labs are located on the third floor of the Natural Sciences 2 (NS2) building. The NS2 building is behind the Science Library. A Parking Permit is required to park on campus without being ticketed. Purchase a permit at the Information Kiosk located at the main entrance.
If you are a guest of SCIPP's we can supply one for you in advance or when we greet you at the office. Parking is limited please allow for ample time.
