Physics 6A is the first course of a three-quarter sequence in introductory physics with calculus. It covers classical mechanics, including linear and rotational kinematics and dynamics, energy and momentum, statics, oscillations, and gravity. The second quarter, Physics 6B, covers waves, sound, fluids, optics, and heat, and the third quarter, Physics 6C, covers electricity and magnetism.
