Theoretical High Energy Physics Postdoc at SCIPP

The Theory Group of the Santa Cruz Institute for Particle Physics at the University of California, Santa Cruz, expects to have one postdoctoral fellow/research associate position open for the academic year 2012-2013, renewable for up to three years.

The theoretical high-energy physics group includes senior faculty members Tom Banks, Michael Dine, Howard Haber and Stefano Profumo, as well as several postdocs and students. The group has close ties and interactions with the local Fermi and ATLAS groups, as well as with theorists Joel Primack and Anthony Aguirre and with several members of the Astronomy and Astrophysics Department at UCSC.

We welcome applications from outstanding candidates interested in all areas of high-energy theory and phenomenology, and we are especially interested in candidates whose research interests include cosmology and/or astroparticle physics.

Applications should include a curriculum vitae, a statement of research interests, a list of publications, as well as the names of three senior physicists who will provide letters of recommendation. Applications must be submitted via Academic Jobs Online (academicjobsonline.org) before December 1, 2011. UCSC is an affirmative action, equal opportunity employer.
