TMCM test check list
- Set-up test equipment
- Plug in a MXI cable from PC to VME-MXI interface board.
- Plug in a main power cable from Agilent E3646 Output 1 to TIB J8
- Plug in a bias power cable from Keithley 2400 INPUT/OUTPUT to TIB J7
- Plug in a clock signal cable from LeCroy 9211 output to LAT VME COM DS-226-0 EXT CLK
- Plug in a trigger signal cable from TIB J13 to Agilent 53131A
- Plug in dual 50-p flat cables for INPUT/OUTPUT signals from LAT VME COM DS-226-0 IN/OUT to TIB J4
- Plug in a 50-p flat cable from VME ADC (Systran VMECS5) J19 to TIB J9
- Connect a GND wire on the metal shield to Agilent E3646 Output 1 -(minus)
- Power-on the test rack and wait a minute.
- Start-up test program
- Log on a terminal
PC in a user name, 'teledyne' and a password '*****'
(ask Roger or Mutsumi).
- Run 'resman' (the shortcut icon is on the desktop).
- Run MCM test GUI program C:\TkrProgUcsc\TmcmMain\TmcmTestMain.bat
(the a shortcut icon is on the desktop)
- Repeat tests for each MCM
- Check wrist band
- Plug in a connector saver to J1
- Enter S/N and operator name on the GUI entry fields
- Choose test category (Pre-Encap, Final, or Post-BurnIn),
test location (Teledyne, SLAC), board type (short or tall),
and GTRC version (basically, 7)
- Push start button and continue,
then start LEFT-mode functionality tests
- Plug out J1 and plug in J3
- Push continue button,
then start RIGHT-mode functionality tests
- Plug in J1 again
- Push continue button,
then start functionality tests in 14, 20, 22 MHz,
and bias current tests.
- If there are errors, check what is wrong and make a decision
to continue threshold-scan tests or not.
The threshold-scan tests take about 15 minutes.
If there is no error, the threshold-scan tests begin
automatically.
- After all the tests finish, print out the excel summary sheet
and figures of gain and noise profiles in the data directory.
- End process
- Power-off the test rack.
- Burn a CD-R(CD-RW) of the test data (C:\TestData) and send it to SLAC
