Testing  in teststand at IR2

• Certification of DAQ link and HDI link cards in the teststand at IR2:

The certification procedure consists of two steps:
• Every card has to pass the digital test which consists basically of writing and reading back registers. Goal of this test is to ensure that there is no problem on the card that might be fatale to a silicon detector.
• With every card a calibration run has to be taken. Goal of this test is to check if the noise level seen with the card in question is within the normal range.
For details see the description of the tests for 5 DAQ link and 5 HDI link cards in the teststand done on 11/04/99.
After 5/30/00, all DAQ link and HDI link cards are to be considered fully functional spares.

Testing after installation or major system work
