When the Examine feature is selected, a vertical indicator line will appear. This line can be positioned by moving the cursor with the mouse. A floating box (helper object) will appear showing the x- and y-coordinates of the data point indicated by the examine line. The coordinates will be displayed whenever the mouse is moved across a graph, Fourier (FFT) display, or histogram. Pressing the left and right arrow keys on the keyboard will allow you to examine points to the left or right of the selected point.
Select Examine either by clicking the Examine icon on the toolbar or by selecting Examine from the Analyze Menu.
Turn off the Examine function by clicking the Examine icon, selecting
the Examine option from the Analyze menu, or clicking on the close box
in the upper corner of the Examine helper object.
