You can re-order your data based on any column. This menu item opens the Sort Data dialog box where you can choose the column and whether the data are sorted in ascending or descending order.

All the columns in the Data Set are rearranged based on the column you choose to be sorted.  For example, if you have a Data Set with two columns:

X    Y
3    33
1    11
2    22

And you sort the Data Set in ascending order based on X, you will then have:

X    Y
1    11
2    22
3    33
