A new start for pCT with a four-year, $2 million grant from the National Institutes of Health. Physicists at UCSC, in collaboration with medical researchers at Loma Linda University Medical Center and a computer science professor at California State University, San Bernardino, are developing imaging technology to improve proton therapy used in cancer treatment.
