Run daq.exe

1. initilize the VXI-VME interface card: run vxi_init and resman (part of the NI software).
2. Run daq.exe What happens :
   • VXI-VME library is initialized.
   • the config file is read
   • allocates memory for the dsp card and boots it.
   • sets the directory names where the control block files, detector plane files and data files are found.
   • adds a detector plane to the readout (if specified in the config file).
   After this the dsp is booted (green front LED is on) and the dsp is ready to accept messages. The main property sheet window pops up.
3. There are four property pages:

   Setup

   add a detector plane to a dsp link. Display and set directories.

   Dsp

   set dsp dac values, load control block files and execute them, read/set dsp falgs.

   Run

   perform runs with all detector planes connected to the dsp.

   Detector Plane

   Change parameter and perform runs for a single detector plane (a single dsp link).
