In this movie we switch the particles in our toy model shower to be gammas instead of electrons. Note how this delays the refraction of the showerfront because the gammas penetrate before pair production occurs. Also note that while the incoming particle front is very thin, the Cherenkov front has a lot of "late light" or light behind the shower front.
