This isolates the second shower front (comparing this figure and the previous figure will reveal the second front hiding in Web Figure #3). Close scrutiny of the Cherenkov front in this animation shows the angle dependent smearing predicted by the bowl and ring model. Contrast this animation with Web Figure #2 to see how the thickness of the second front varies with incident angle.
