Theoretical Particle Physics at SCIPP

SCIPP's theoretical physicists focus on collider phenomenology, electroweak symmetry breaking, Higgs bosons, supersymmetry, models of physics beyond the Standard Model, string theory, early universe cosmology, observational cosmology, and traditional astrophysics. They have close ties to UCSC Astronomy & Astrophysics, and to the SLAC and Stanford theory groups. SCIPP's theory group consists of seven faculty and four postdoctoral scholars.
