Cartesian Graph

A graphical display of data. Update the graph by typing in data pairs in the data table. When you import or paste data into Graphical Analysis, the graph is updated as soon as the data importation is complete.

Choosing what is plotted on an axis:  Initially, the data table simply labels the axes X and Y, but it is possible to change what is plotted. To do so, move the mouse over either label and click the label. An axis options window then appears from which you can select a column or columns for display. You can also change the labels by selecting Graph Options from the Options menu.

Changing the scaling settings: To change the range over which data is plotted, click on an axis label. You can choose scaling options from the buttons on the right side of the dialog box. It is also possible to change the scales by clicking on the left and right limits on the X-axis or the top and bottom limits of the Y-axis. Once clicked, a box will appear allowing you to change the value.

Another option is to use the Autoscale button in the toolbar.
