Using Graphical Analysis, you can enter data into the data table, then copy it to other applications. For example, the text and/or data can be pasted into a word processor for reports.
Specific instructions are available for copying information to the following
applications:
Microsoft Word
Microsoft Excel
Almost any Windows or Mac application which supports pasting from the clipboard can receive data from Graphical Analysis, not just those listed above. In general you can copy data into your application with the following steps. The data must be in memory to do this.
1. Make sure that the table object is selected. Select the data you want to copy. You can only copy the columns and rows that you select. Single-click the column heading to highlight a column. If you want to copy the whole data table, choose Select All from the Edit menu.
2. Select Copy from the Edit menu to copy the data to the clipboard.
3. Launch the other application.
4. Select Paste from the Edit menu in the other application.
Note: You can also copy data from the Data Browser. This can be done by clicking on a data set or column and selecting Copy. This will include the data as well as formatting information, including column titles, date, etc. when pasted into the other application.
