Importing Data From Other Applications and Old Versions of Graphical Analysis

You can import data created on other applications as well as older versions of Graphical Analysis. Here's how:
 

          Run Logger Pro and use File-Export to save your data as text (.txt).
In Graphical Analysis,  import the data by choosing Import From...Text File from the File menu and select the file with the .txt extention.

 
Mac
1. In the older version, save the data you want by choosing "Export as Text . . ." from the File menu (this will be a *.text file type). 
2. In Graphical Analysis 3, import the data by choosing "Import from . . . Text file" from the File menu. 
Windows
1. In the older version, save the data as you normally would (this will be a *.dat file type). 
2. In Graphical Analysis 3, import the data by choosing "Import from . . . Text file" from the File menu.
note:
You can also import files from the old version of Graphical Analysis for Windows by choosing Open. You will 
need to scroll under Files of Type and choose All Files (*.*) to see the .dat file type. You will be given a warning of you choose to open it. Click OK, and the data will be sucessfully imported.
Run Excel and load or create your spreadsheet. Go to File Save As and choose the option Text(tab delimited) (*.txt) or CSV (Comma Delimited) (*.csv).
In Graphical Analysis, import the data by choosing Import From...Text File from the File menu and select the file with the .txt or .csv extentions.
Type in rows of data separating each data point by a tab. Save this as text (.txt).
In Graphical Analysis, import the data by choosing Import From...Text File from the File menu and select the file with the .txt extention.
