The File menu contains functions to load, save, and print files and
data. The File menu offers the following commands:
| New | Creates a new file. |
| Open | Opens an existing document. |
| Save | Saves the current document using the existing file name. |
| Save As... | Saves the current document to a specified file name. |
| Import From | Contains two submenus. |
| Import->TI Device... imports data from Texas Instrumetns graphing calculators. | |
| Import->LabPro... imports data from Vernier LabPro using a serial or USB cable. | |
| Import->Text File... imports a text file into columns of data. | |
| Import->Palm Data Pro... imports data from a Palm device collected with the Data Pro program. | |
| Export as Text | Exports current document as columns of tab-delimited data. |
| Page Setup... | Opens the page setup dialog box for the current printer. |
| Printing Options... | Identifying text and date/time can be added to printouts. |
| Print Preview... | In this view, you can check the layout of the document before printing. |
| Print... | Prints the current document. |
| Print Data Table | Prints complete columns of data from a table object or objects. |
| Print Graph | Prints only the graph (or graphs) from your page. |
| Preferences... | Use this command to set the preferences for Graphical Analysis. |
| Settings for File | Change settings that pertain to the general operation Graphical Analysis. |
| Exit | Exits Graphical Analysis. |
