For the last few years we have held one-week summer workshops at UCSC to work with high school teachers on analysis and understanding of scientific data with special emphasis on data taken by cosmic ray detectors provided by Quarket. The program is devoted to cosmic ray detection and measurement of the muon lifetime. In both 2007 and 2008 we had 7 attendees.
2009 dates to be announced

Please see the Workshop flyer from last year for additional information.
In the past we tried to combine the teachers workshop with a 5 week long H.S. student internship program, also funded by Quarknet. We have decided to discontinue the H.S. internship program to concentrate our focus on local H.S. teachers.
