Helper Objects like Integral, Statistics, Linear Fit, Curve Fit, Legend,
and Examine are objects with text and line components. The Helper Objects
Options dialog box contains many functions to manage helper objects. You
can either select it from
Additional
Objects Options from the Options Menu
or double-click on a Helper Object. The
Helper Objects Options dialog box is not available if there are no Helper
Objects on the page.
Moving a Helper Object:
You can move a floating box by clicking on it and dragging it around
the page.
Deleting the Helper Object:
To delete the object and the graph item to which it points to (an integral,
regression line, curve fit, etc.), click the small close box in the upper
corner of the Helper Object or click on the Helper Object and select
Delete
from the Edit Menu.
Aligning Helper Objects:
For organizational purposes, helper objects can be arranged to various
parts of the page. Select one of the options under Align
Objects from the Page Menu.
Grouping Helper Objects: Helper objects are always considered
part of the graph they are attached to. If you delete the graph,
the helper object goes away. If you copy or group the graph, the
helper object is copied or grouped as well
